Adam Bokmeyer Head Coach

Bokmeyer comes to SAU after serving as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at the University of Texas for the 2017 & 2018 seasons and helping lead them to 19 wins over two years. He coached the defense to a #2 ranking in the country and coached multiple All-Conference Defensive Players, Rookie of the Year, and a MCLA All-American.

Before Texas, he was the Program Director and Varsity Head Coach at Smithson Valley High School (TX) and was also the assistant head coach and DC at NCAA D-2 Adams St. University (CO) from 2012-14.

He got his coaching start in California working at two high schools in the mid-2000s and was also the head women's lacrosse coach at Sonoma St. University (CA) in 2008-09. He then worked as the Assistant HC and DC at Chico St. University in CA from 2010-12.

During his playing career, Bokmeyer was recruited as both an offensive and defensive midfielder for NCAA D-1 U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY from 2004-06.

He was an Academic All-American and All-Grossmont Conference and County CIF attackman and midfielder in San Diego graduating from Granite Hills High School in 2004.

Bokmeyer, a native of El Cajon, CA, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Colorado St. Univ.'s Global Campus in 2012 and currently pursuing his M.B.A. in Finance from Washington St. University.

Bryan Habick Defensive Coordinator

Habick joins the SAU staff after 6 years in Division III. Most recently, he spent two years as the Defensive Coordinator at The College of Wooster in Ohio. During those two years, Habick helped the Fighting Scots land 6 All-Conference selections and a semifinal finish in the 2019 season.

Habick’s six years of coaching experience include stints at Capital University (OH), Washington & Jefferson College (PA), Wilmington College (OH), Marywood University (PA), and The College of Wooster. With 28 Career All-Conference selections, five Players of the Year, three All-Tournament Team selections, one USILA South Region All-Star and an OAC Conference title in 2015. During the same 2015 season, Habick’s defense was ranked 7th-nationally.

Prior to his time coaching, Coach Habick played Close Defense, Longstick Midfielder, and Defensive Midfield at Utica College (DIII – NY). He was a four-year member of the Men’s Lacrosse team and winner of the Jake Malison Award. Preceding his collegiate career, Habick played at Manasquan High School (NJ) where he was the 2010 Defensive Player of the Year, 3-year starter and captain. During his time as a Warrior, Habick helped lead the team to four consecutive Shore Conference Tournament appearances.
